I am super excited about our first official Phyt Trail! For the next 8 weeks I will be using a waist trainer provided to my by Nicoila' WrapDiva Richardson (www.divawaistline.com.) I became intrested in finding out if waist training works after seeing my fellow PhytGurl Anowa Adjah, who has given birth to twins, praise the process. I have also heard that Jessica Alba, Deelishis, and Queen Bey have all used them. I ordered my trainer over a week ago and it is normally delivered in 7-10 days but because of the popularity and high volume of orders I haven't recived it yet....maybe thats a sign that it works?! I am hoping to have my waist trainer by early next week, so don't forget to check into PhytGurl.com to see my initail opinion!
The benifits are suppose to be improved posture and of course a smaller waist. Like any product the key is to stick with it and use it as directed. Below is an explanation of waist training directly off of the website:
What is Waist Training?
Waist Training is a gradual process of using corsets or latex waist garments to contour and redefine the waistline and midsection.. You will go through several corset/waist cincher sizes and it may take many months to achieve your desired goal. For effective results, it is very important that you follow a healthy diet in addition to the daily waist training regimen. The amount of time it takes to reach a desired goal will vary in each person, and primarily depends on how disciplined one is during the waist training process. It is suggested that you start by wearing the cincher 8 hours a day or as long as you feel comfortable, you should gradually increase the amount of hours you wear per day, and the tightness.
After a month or two of wearing, downsizing to the next smallest size is suggested.Diva Waistline does not recommend that you sleep in the shaper, this can cause damage to the garment and shorten the time you can use your cincher. As always you should speak with your physician before using the waist training process, especially if you have pre-exsisting health issues or concerns. This method may not be suitable for everyone. If you select the proper size, choose a healthy diet, incorporate exercise and maintain the required discipline you should have no problem reaching your desired goal!!
Some advice that I got in addition to what was on the website was to:
1. Put my shoes on before putting on the waist trainier (lol)
2. Don't drink carbonated drinks because the gas will feel exaggerated while laced in the corset.
3. Get help putting on the corset the first few times.
